Pembroke Pines, FL (December 9, 2019) - Thousands were in attendance as Pembroke Pines residents, friends and guests came together to bring in the holiday season and enjoy the annual Christmas event, Snowfest, sponsored by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, American Pediatric Dental Group, Naidu Orthodontics and Bright Star Credit Union. The event was held on the plaza at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.
The December 7, 2019 festivities included 75 tons of snow to play in, an appearance by Santa Claus himself with photo opportunities, Reindeer Games, rides, musical performances, arts and crafts, Santa’s Toyland, a visit to Santa’s Workshop, bounce houses, tree lighting ceremony and many more fun activities that occurred during the 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. event.
Families and friends, dressed in their Christmas colors of red, white and green, relaxed on lounge chairs, blankets and benches throughout the late afternoon and early evening to enjoy the large assortment of entertainment provided by the City of Pembroke Pines. Additionally, the event, free of charge, included a petting zoo and slides. Lastly, visitors had an opportunity to satisfy their taste buds and sweet tooth by enjoying the many delicacies such as pizza and churros that were available to them from the Food Truck Invasion.
