The Touch-A-Truck Vehicle Expo, taking place on September 28, 2019 from 10 am to noon at the Pines Recreation Center, gives children the opportunity to explore, climb and touch the trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery, construction vehicles and all sorts of other equipment used for transportation. Children of all ages also will be able to meet the personnel who serve our community as well as protect it, including police and fire officers. Taking the learning experience to another level, this free event gives visitors the opportunity to ask questions and actually experience what the vehicles are truly like. Local and national companies will also showcase their brands and vehicles, while at the same time providing one on one interaction with children and families. Everyone is invited to sit behind the wheel, honk the horn, climb and explore the vehicles they’ve always been curious about or have seen on the road. Pines Recreation Center is located at 7400 Pines Blvd. Free admission and parking. For more information, please call 954-392-2116
