For veterans aged 60+, their spouses or caregivers - join the South Florida Institute on Aging's Tech Services classes "Computer Basics for Older Adults" or "Beyond the Basics." Volunteer veteran-taught, the free courses will help participants connect to the internet, communicate via email, access health and medical benefits, discover financial resources etc. Participants must commit to attending two classes weekly for eight weeks. There is no fee. Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center at 301 NW 103 Ave. Space is limited.
