It’s time to “tee off” for education at the 18th Annual Pembroke Pines Charter School Golf Tournament.  The Friday, March 22, 2019 Golf Tournament will be held at the Pembroke Lakes Country Club, located at 10500 Taft Street, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mayor Frank C. Ortis and Waste Pro proudly present this Annual Pembroke Pines Charter School Golf Tournament which benefits the Pembroke Pines Charter School Foundation. Over the past 18 years, this event has raised over one million dollars thanks to the generosity of sponsors and golfers. It includes an 18- hole tournament, a putting contest, lunch, refreshments on ‘The Green,’ deluxe buffet dinner, prizes, a live auction and awards.  Each player in the tournament also receives a $50 gift certificate from the Pro Shop. The largest municipally run charter school system in the country, the Pembroke Pines Charter School System, with just over 6,000 students, is recognized for its innovation and academic excellence. All proceeds from the Pembroke Pines Charter School Golf Tournament directly enhance each student’s educational experience.

The Tournament begins at 10:30 a.m. with registration, a putting contest, a delicious lunch and then a shot-gun tee off at 12:30 p.m.  The Driving Range and Practice tee will also be open. A cocktail reception with open bar begins at 5:30 p.m. with a deluxe buffet, prize presentations and a live auction. Sponsorship opportunities, which include Presidential for $10,000, Diplomat for $5,000, Ambassador for $2,500, and Signage Sponsorships are available.  For more information on sponsorship levels and golf registration, please call Traci Richards at 954-435-6759 or email TRichards@ppines.com. The Pembroke Pines Charter School Foundation is a non-profit organization that directly provides financial support and educational scholarships for the Pembroke Pines Charter School System.
