[ARCHIVED] Charter School Lottery for New Students

Lottery_Girl Reads_web

Now through March 10, 2019, Florida residents are invited to enroll their child/children into the 2019-2020 school year lottery for the City of Pembroke Pines Charter School System (PPCSS). Wait-listed students are required to re-submit their online application to remain current on the wait list. Re-enrollment and Reassignment Application information is being sent directly to PPCSS parents. For a student entering the lottery system for the first time, parents should go to http://pinescharterapply.net/apply for more information regarding the Pembroke Pines Charter School System, and complete and submit a lottery application. Applicants will be notified via email of the lottery results, shortly after the open enrollment period ends.

If a student(s) is already on the lottery wait list, parents should go to http://pinescharterapply.net/apply and log in using the email currently on the wait list file. If the parent cannot successfully log in, then contact a school registrar for help or use the forgotten password feature. Please do not start a new account and/or lottery application since they would lose their current wait list position in the lottery. Once logged in, parents should check the accuracy of the information already provided in each step of the lottery application to ensure proper placement in the lottery process. Once the final confirmation step is reached, parents should press the “Send my Application” button. The parent will receive a confirmation email.

The Pembroke Pines Charter School System’s Center for Autism is also accepting applications for its elementary program. Located at the City of Pembroke Pines Florida State University (FSU) Charter Elementary School campus, the Center provides an academic and social skills setting for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Small group settings are provided to individualize the needs of each child with an emphasis on curriculum standards, social skills, and sensory processing. The class is taught by a certified teacher with additional support staff. The school’s Center for Autism enhances each student’s ability to mainstream to a least restrictive environment within the school campus. The program is available for elementary-aged students.

For additional information regarding the lottery process, please go to http://www.pinescharterapply.net or contact the Pembroke Pines Charter School Registrars at:
