Boo-ville
– A Most Spooktacular Night
Family
fun is right around the corner this Halloween season. Hosted by the City of
Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, the City’s Annual
“Boo-ville” is taking place on Tuesday October 30, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at
the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke
Pines.
Boo-Ville,
with surprises at every turn, is a Halloween event that’s fun for all
ages. Visitors can show off their best Halloween costumes and fill
pumpkins and carrying cases with as much candy as possible from various treat
stations. Admission and Parking are free.
Boo-Ville
features pumpkin patches with hidden prizes, movies, a costume contest, trick
or treat stations, arts & crafts, and many more fun activities. The
Teal Pumpkin Project, a national campaign by Food Allergy Research &
Education (FARE), will designate non-food treats to children at Boo-Ville who
have food allergies, and for those whom candy is not an option.
Pumpkin
Carving Contest is new to Boo-ville this year. Families are encouraged to bring
their PRE-DECORATED Pumpkins to showcase at the event. There are three (3)
categories, Scariest, Funniest and Most Creative. Pumpkins will be on display
during the event. Secret Judges will choose the top pumpkin in each category
and Kids in attendance will be able to vote for the Kids Choice Award. Please
refer to the rules and guidelines for the Pumpkin Carving Contest at www.ppines.com/specialevents
