The City of Pembroke Pines
Recreation & Cultural Arts Department and the Arts & Culture Advisory
Board presents the 14th Annual Art Competition at Studio 18 in the
Pines. Artists must be 18 years and older to participate. Entries
will be accepted by mail or delivered to Studio 18 in the Pines, Monday -
Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm and Saturday 10am to
2pm. Artists
may submit artwork in eight categories and win prizes as follows:

Best Digital Art

Best Drawing

Best Photography
$200
Best Sculpture
$200
Best Mixed Media
$200
Best Painting
$200
Best Watercolor
One
submission from all of the entries above will be chosen to be the Art Fest
Poster winner. In addition to a $200 cash prize, the winner of the
Festival Poster will have his/her art featured as the Art Festival booklet
cover, and he/she will be provided a free 10x10 tent/space at the 21st Annual Art Fest in the Pines. The Art Fest will be held on March 9th and 10th, 2019 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601
City Center Way.
The
winners of the competition will be announced at the Opening Reception at Studio
