On August 13, 2016, Mayor Frank Ortis will host Pembroke Pines youth in an activity filled day at Pembroke Shores Park from 4-6pm, 501 SW 172nd Avenue. As part of the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) continued support of the "Play Ball Summer" initiative.
There will be activities for everyone:
- Neighborhood Wiffle Ball (Parents invited too)
- Radar Gun Challenge (How Fast can you throw a baseball?)
- Long Throw Challenge
- Tee Challenge
- Accuracy Challenge
- Base Running Challenge
Arrive Early! Wiffle Ball game will be 2 innings, limited to 24 players.
