Your feedback is needed -- A strategic plan is a comprehensive guide for a community’s growth and improvement. It defines key goals and actionable steps to enhance quality of life, public services, environmental sustainability, and more.  (www.ppines.com/blueprint). The creation of the City’s Draft Strategic Plan "We Love Pembroke Pines - A Blueprint for a Brighter Future" started with gathering input from residents, businesses, and community organizations to capture a broad vision. The city then expanded this effort through the creation of a series of master planning documents in the areas of Transportation, Economic Development, Parks and Recreation and Public Art. City leaders then translated this vision and elements from the master planning documents into specific goals and strategies, followed by an implementation plan and project list that prioritizes initiatives and allocates resources effectively.

This Draft Strategic Plan is a blueprint that will guide our community’s growth and improvements over the coming years. The plan provides a clear roadmap for how we will enhance quality of life, public services, environmental sustainability, and more. Through this plan, we aim to foster a vibrant, safe, and thriving Pembroke Pines for everyone.

Below are the four documents that make up our Draft Strategic Plan:

  1. This document provides an overview of the vision and mission that have been drafted along with seven strategic focus areas that include our community’s key goals and priorities. Draft Strategic Plan
  2. A funding estimate used to illustrate how residents contribute to the $250 million GO bond debt over a period of time.  Certain assumptions about the debt structure, such as the interest rate, repayment period, and how the costs are spread across the population were made.  Actual results may vary. Estimated Strategic Plan Funding
  3. The Implementation Plan details the specific actions and initiatives that will help us achieve each goal within the seven strategic focus areas. Implementation Plan
  4. The Project List outlines the various projects planned to bring the strategic plan to life.   Project List
