Applications for the 7th Annual Student Art Competition are currently being accepted and the deadline is fast approaching. The City of Pembroke Pines’ Annual Student Art Competition is part of the 26th Annual Art & Music Fest in the Pines and kindly sponsored by Synalovski Romanik Saye. Students residing in Pembroke Pines and/or attending a Pembroke Pines School or a City art class in grades K-12 are eligible to participate. Students from each grade level (K-2), (3-5) (6-8) and (9-12) will be eligible to receive the following prizes: 1st Place Winner receives $100 gift card; 2nd Place Winner receives $50 gift card; and 3rd Place Winner receives $25 card. A completed Artist Application and the student’s artwork will be accepted at Studio 18 Art Complex, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive, until Monday, October 21, 2024. Winners will be announced on Saturday, November 2 at 2 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center. After the presentation, all participants will receive a free frozen yogurt from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.
