The City of Pembroke Pines welcomes everyone to a Memorial Day Observance to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their life fighting for our country. There will be a special ceremony held on Monday, May 27, 2024 beginning at 9 AM, at Donnith H. Fletcher Park, located at 7900 Johnson Street. The City of Pembroke Pines Annual Memorial Day Ceremony honors our country’s men and women who have died serving in the U.S. military. All are welcome to attend. The Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Honor Guard will present colors, and veterans, city and community leaders, as well as special guests will join together to pay tribute and take part in a wreath placing ceremony. If unable to attend, there will be a live feed tribute on the City of Pembroke Pines Facebook page and it will be posted on the City’s YouTube Channel under Pembroke Pines Media.
