A new exhibition called “Ephemeral Construct” is opening at The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery, located at 601 City Center Way, from February 8, 2024, through May 18, 2024. All ages are welcome to attend an opening reception of Ephemeral Construct on Friday, February 8, 2024, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission and parking are free. There will also be free refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. This exhibition weaves together the narratives of four South Florida-based artists – Alejandra Abad, Deborah Perlman, Nathalie Alfonso, and Sharon Lee Hart. It is a collective presentation of their solo exhibitions that explores the multifaceted concept of impermanence across diverse artistic lenses. Each artist maintains a unique approach, yet common threads emerge, forming a rich tapestry of interconnected themes that delve into the transient nature of our constructed world.
