Applications for the 6th Annual Student Art Competition are now being accepted. The City of Pembroke Pines’ Annual Student Art Competition is part of the 25th Annual Art & Music Fest in the Pines held in November. Students residing in Pembroke Pines and/or attending a Pembroke Pines School or a City art class in grades K-12 are eligible to enter the Student Art Competition. Students from each grade level (K-2), (3-5) (6-8) and (9-12) will be eligible to receive the following prizes: 1st Place Winner receives $100 gift card; 2nd Place Winner receives $50 gift card; and 3rd Place Winner receives $25 card. A completed Artist Application and the student’s artwork will be accepted at Studio 18 Art Complex, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive, now through Wednesday, October 18, 2023, until 5pm.
