The City of Pembroke Pines and the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery are hosting an opening reception for a new exhibition entitled “Inhabited” on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery, located at 601 City Center Way. This exhibition explores the concepts of identity, nostalgia, migration, and moments of longing. Featuring images that resemble daily life scenes, illustrate personal dreams and goals, celebrate the past, and find personal markers in the spaces that we occupy, the range of artworks in the show vary from paintings and sculptures to video and installation works. Exhibiting artists include Nathalie Alfonso, Liene Bosquê, RemiJin Camping, Deryn Cowdy, Stephanie Hadad, Amanda Linares, Enido Michelini, Roberto Navarrete, Krystal Rodriguez, and Harrison Tobon.Guests can enjoy complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. The evening will also feature music by Barbara Gomulka. Admission and parking are free to the public.
