Due to the possibility of sustained tropical storm winds and the unpredictable shifting of Hurricane Ian, the City of Pembroke Pines will close the following:
- City Hall/Administrative Offices will be closed on Wednesday (Sept. 28);
- City parks will close today (Sept. 27) at 4 pm through Wednesday;
- All parks, sports fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts and pools. All activities, training and or classes at the parks are canceled.
- Rose Price Park hall. All meetings and classes at this location are canceled
- Towngate Park hall and gym. All meetings and classes at this location are canceled.
- Studio 18, Pembroke Pines Art & Culture Center, and The Frank. All classes or programming at these locations is also canceled.
- Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center and Pembroke Lakes Golf Course
- The Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center and Easter Seals Daycare will be closed on Wednesday;
- Transportation Routes, which includes Community Shuttle Bus, via the SWFP will be suspended Wednesday;
- City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools and Early Learning Centers will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Bulk pickup has been suspended for Wednesday in Zone #11 (University Drive west to Palm Ave., Pines Blvd south to Pembroke Road)
