[ARCHIVED] Student Martin Luther King Jr. Poetry Contest

The City of Pembroke Pines invites students attending school or residing in Pembroke Pines to respond to a call for original poetry, spoken word or creative writing pieces. One entry per student. Submissions, which are now being accepted through January 7, 2022, must be emailed at thefrank@ppines.com All pieces must be original writing containing no less than 15 words and no more than 300 words. For further guidelines, please visit www.thefrankgallery.org/p/poetrycontest. One winner will be selected from each grade level category: Kindergarten-2nd grade; 3rd grade - 5th grade; 6th grade-8th grade; and 9th - 12th grade. On Monday, January 17, 2022 winners will read their pieces and will be presented with a gift card during the city's Martin Luther King. Jr. celebration being held at 10 am at the Charles F.
