It’s time to get into the holiday spirit with some Red, White and Snow at this year’s Snowfest.  For Pembroke Pines residents only, the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department will hold Snowfest on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way.

There’s no better way for the kids to cool off than to come play in 75 tons of snow. Snow flurries will be seen throughout the event, and the air also will be filled with the sounds of the holidays with over 300 singers and dancers on the holiday stage for all to enjoy. When the magical time comes, Santa and City officials will need everyone’s help to light up the 35ft tree on the plaza. This Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm.  New this year is the Ugly Sweater Contest, when roaming judges will award prizes between 5:00-6:00pm for the “Best” or in this case “The Ugliest Holiday Sweater.” Free parking, free rides and free holiday activities including visits with Santa are from 4:30-7:30pm.

This event is open to Pembroke Pines Residents only. Tickets to attend are required for the event and are now available.  Tickets are free and will need to be obtained in person with proof of residency prior to the event. Ticket availability is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Everyone attending will require a ticket. The tickets will be available at Pembroke Lakes Tennis Center, 10500 Taft Street, Monday- Friday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Saturday – Sunday 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Concessions and food trucks will be available for food and drink purchases. For details on the event visit events or call the Special Events Office at 954-392-2116.
