  • The City’s Road and Bridge/Public Works/Utilities departments are clearing roads, handling flooding and any public works issues that arise.

11/10/20:

ATTENTION DRIVERS: Pembroke Pines Police officers are continuing to assess the safety of our roadways following Tropical Storm Eta. The following roadways are partially or completely closed down due to flooding:
Eastbound and westbound Johnson Street is currently blocked between 184 Avenue and 186 Avenue.
186 Avenue & Pines Boulevard; only one northbound lane of travel is open at this time. To minimize traffic backup, please restrict travel along this roadway to residents & essential business only.
The intersection of Taft Street & 196 Avenue has extreme high water, and an officer is on scene to warn drivers. Please proceed with caution, and restrict travel to residents & essential business only.
Douglas Road and Pines Boulevard has been re-opened.
It is better to be safe than sorry - if you are approaching a submerged roadway and you are unsure of the depth, seek an alternate route.

Residents, businesses and all employees are advised to monitor the City’s website at www.ppines.com for updated information regarding City Services.
