All ages are welcome to attend an informative and fun-filled evening at the annual Pines Night Out, a free event, on Friday, October 25, 2019 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center located at 601 City Center Way. Pines Night Out is designed to bring residents together to promote crime prevention, neighborhood unity and safety, and police and fire partnerships. This year’s event will feature food, music, bounce houses, costume contests, health screenings, and displays from the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Pooches in Pines and the Crime Scene Unit. There will also be K-9 demonstrations, the chance to see up-close the armored Bear Cat, Dive Boat and Motor Units, as well as Fire Trucks and Fire Department demonstrations. More than 3,000 people typically attend Pines Night Out which is scheduled in October to coincide with Crime Prevention Month.
