All are invited to join the City of Pembroke Pines for an Independence Day celebration and fireworks display on Friday, July 4 beginning at 6 pm at the Pines Recreation Center, located at 7400 Pines Blvd. This celebration, sponsored by Baptist Health, is free and open for all ages. There will be games and rides, arts and crafts, a Pie Eating Contest at 6 pm, live music by FM Band Miami from 7 – 9 pm, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks display from 9 pm – 9:30 pm. Everyone is being asked to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. Please remember, however, NO pets, coolers or personal fireworks are permitted. The fireworks display will begin at 9 pm.
