It’s time to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the City of Pembroke Pines together on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. This year’s Pines Day theme, “Lighting Up the World,” means we’ll be transforming the City Center Plaza into a glowing paradise, featuring oversized arcade games and showcasing the city’s cultural diversity. There will be fun for all ages with LED-powered games like See-Saws, Giant Lite Brite, Mini Golf, Domino tables, and claw machines with prizes. Kids will receive a passport to explore seven arts and crafts stations throughout the festival grounds. The Glow Lounge will offer an LED Dance floor where guests can show of their moves, whether it's Samba, Salsa, Flamenco, Hula, or a classic disco groove. Children can enjoy free rides, bounce houses, slides, and unlimited popcorn and cotton candy. It’s also a great time to capture a family photo with strolling characters.
Guests can further explore the diversity of our world at the Cultural Connection Market, where businesses will offer unique goods from around the globe. Those feeling a bit hungry can then indulge in a variety of international dishes at Food Truck Row. Local choruses and dance teams will perform on the Birthday Stage, and free face painting booths will get the kids ready for the big birthday celebration. At 8:30 pm, everyone is encouraged to gather together for a grand birthday moment with over 1,000 decorated cupcakes, followed by the grand finale — the first-ever Drone Show lighting up the sky.
