The City of Pembroke Pines Recreation, Fire and Police Departments will be hosting a special Water Safety Day on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10 am to Noon at the Academic Village Pool, located at 17191 Sheridan Street. Everyone is invited to “Be Cool in the Pool” – a day filled with water related activities, giveaways, a live DJ and food. There will also be demonstrations on how to be safe in the water and many other important safety tips, as well as some special guests for Star Wars fans who are aware it’s also “May the Fourth Be With You” day.
