The City of Pembroke Pines Recreation Department and Fire Department will be hosting a special Water Safety Day on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10 am to Noon at the Academic Village Pool, located at 17191 Sheridan Street. Everyone is invited to “Be Cool in the Pool” – a day filled with water-related activities, giveaways, a live DJ and light refreshments. There will also be a limited number of vouchers for free swimming lessons, as well as, safety demonstrations and information on other ways to be safe in the water.
