The Pembroke Pines Fire Department is partnering with the American Red Cross to install free smoke alarms in high risk neighborhoods nationwide. Our City's Department is proudly taking part in the Sound the Alarm program which runs from April 8, 2021- May 8, 2021, joining more than 100 communities across the country, to provide a lifesaving service to reduce death and injury from home fires. Smoke alarms will only be installed to the first 50 registered residents from April 8, 2021- May 8, 2021. Only battery operated smoke alarms will be installed, not hard wired smoke alarms.
