Studio 18

Studio 18 in the Pines is an 11,000 square foot facility dedicated to showcasing contemporary art and serving the community. The studio offers affordable space for emerging and mid career juried artists. Studio 18 hosts exhibitions, workshops, lectures and classes.

The main gallery and classrooms are available to rent for private functions.

Art openings are held on the first Friday of every month from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Artist's studios are open during First Friday events and receptions. First Friday events are free. For more information call 954.961.6067.

PPTOPA


The Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts (PPTOPA), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, has been providing live theatre to the community for the past seventeen years. Our Board of Directors, Cast and Crew are all volunteers, who dedicate countless hours of their time.

PPTOPA produces three shows per season, and entertains approximately 4,000 people per production.

Arts and Music Classes - (Class Announcement)


Classes are offered on a monthly basis. No pro-rating will be offered. Class size is limited. Payment is due upon registration.

No refunds unless class is cancelled. Some classes require additional supplies, which must be purchased by the student. Supply lists are available at the Art Center and can be obtained by calling (954) 986-5027.


Classes are offered at the Donnith H. Fletcher Art & Culture Center 7960 Johnson Street and the River of Grass ArtsPark, 17189 Sheridan Street. Open 8:30am - 5:00pm.

Summer Camp

Fletcher Art Camp run ten Weeks - River of Grass Art or Drama Camps run eight weeks.  Includes fine art or theater instruction every day, games, dress up days, outside play time, children's art show, swimming and one field trip per session.

Art Camp Ages: 6-11 - Drama Camp Ages: 8-11 - Cost: Art Camp $235 for a two- week session Drama Camp $470 for a four-week session - Registration Fee is $25 per child, per summer (non-refundable)

Pembroke Pines is a nationally designated All America City and is the 11th largest cities in Florida. 

The Art Festival in the Pines offers a great opportunity for artists and patrons alike to purchase and sell art and fine crafts in a delightful atmosphere.

The Festival also showcases food booths, live music, a hands-on art children's area, and demonstrations by local artists.
