The Southwest Focal Point Community Center provides additional events throughout the year free to the general public. Some events include flea markets, arts and crafts shows, and the annual health fair. We also hold fundraising events such as antique shows, season themed tea parties, and an annual golf tournament.  We organize a food drive every year and work closely with local schools and other City departments to provide our residents a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Other events include monthly dinner dances with live entertainment and our summer open house and holiday open house which are open to the public.

Each year we host the annual Broward Aging Network Conference (BANC) presented by Aging & Disability Resource Center of Broward County. This event is for all seniors, caregivers & aging network professionals. Includes free health screenings, health information, educational presentations, raffles, and entertainment. For further information please see attached flyer.

This year we will be hosting a Veterans Employment Expo to assist our veterans to find employment in the community. Workshops for resume writing & interviewing techniques will also be offered.
