Pines Athletic Club

The Pembroke Pines Athletic Club (PAC), as part of the Recreation Department of the City of Pembroke Pines, offers a wide range of fitness, sports activities, programs and special events.  PAC strives to provide a variety of programs, activities and events that enhance the quality of life and promote the physical, mental, and social well being of the youth of our community.The Pines Athletic Club is for boys and girls ages 6 to 17. Membership is $45.00 per year. Tae Kwan Do

Schedule of Programs

Tae Kwon Do – Learn traditional Tae Kwon Do, self-discipline, and respect. Boost self –esteem and get in shape. Ages 6 to 17.
Tuesdays and Thursdays – 6:00 to 7:00 PM – Beginners, 7:00 to 8:00 PM – Advanced

Boxing – Learn self defense and self confidence. Compete in amateur bouts. Build self-esteem and get in shape. Ages 9 to 17.  Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays – 5:00 to 6:00 PM – Beginners, 6:00 to 7:00 PM – Advanced

Basketball Clinic - Monday and Wednesdays – 5:30 to 7:00 PM – Open to ages 9 to 17 with any skill level. The Clinic will focus on individual skills and improving as a player

Camps – Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Camps.

Summer Camp is for boys and girls ages 8 to 14, and offered for eleven weeks, beginning on June 8, 2015 and concluding on August 21, 2015 at the Pines Athletic Center (formerly PAL), 7900 Johnson Street in Pembroke Pines. The PAC Summer Camp offers field trips every day, sports, arts and crafts, games and swimming. Camp begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends promptly at 6:30 p.m. Weekly fee is $110.00. Campers provide own lunch, drinks and sunscreen. Registration begins Monday, April 13th, 2015. To register please call the PAC office 954-986-5044 or email Susan Jones or Tom Joyce .

After School Program – Boys and Girls ages 6 to 14. Pick up from school. Early Release Days and Kids Days Off available. Additional Fee required.

Youth Leadership Program – High School Attendance Required. Boys and Girls ages 14 to 17 years of age. Earn school service hours while helping our community. Community service projects, Civic responsibility, etc.
