Bicycle Safety Rodeos
The Community Affairs Unit, when requested, will go out to local elementary schools, daycares, communities and park locations throughout the city and promote bicycle safety with a Bicycle Safety Rodeo. All children are encouraged to attend and bring their own bicycles and helmets and ride through the safety course. The course is designed to teach children the rules of the road, cycling safely on the correct side of the roadway, using the correct safety hand signals and learning how to avoid obstacles in the roadway.

To schedule a rodeo for your school, park or community, contact the Community Affairs Unit at 954-436-3274.
