Curbside Trash
Waste Pro TruckTrash Pickup
Residential pickup is billed monthly on your utility bill for $19.99. Residents may opt for second trash cart for a fee of $3 per month.
Pickup days for trash are twice a week by a private contractor:
  • Monday and Thursday
    Dykes Road west to US Highway 27 (including Holly Lake MHP)
  • Tuesday and Friday
    Palm Avenue west to Dykes Road
  • Wednesday and Saturday
    Florida Turnpike west to Palm Avenue

It is recommended residents select the largest cart available, especially those who enjoy working on their landscaping and have larger families. Questions regarding trash pick up should be directed to Waste Pro USA or the City of Pembroke Pines Public Services Department.

Trash Cart Weight Limits
  • 35 gallon - 125 lbs
  • 65 gallon - 220 lbs
  • 95 gallon - 340 lbs

In April 2007, residents were asked to choose which of the three different size trash cart containers they wished to use. Many people selected the largest cart available, especially those who enjoy working on their landscaping.

The City of Pembroke Pines joins other cities in providing automated trash pickup including:
