City Wide Website Photo Contest


Photo Contest dates: September 17th – November 19th, 2012

The City of Pembroke Pines is preparing to rebuild the city’s website with a focus on improved citizens contact and streamlined navigation. To celebrate this occasion, the City is holding a photo contest in our continuous effort to connect with the community and capture real images of Pembroke Pines through your lens.

Many of you have already had the opportunity to use the city’s website and resources from locating local parks, scheduling city services and researching all of the services provided by your city staff. This photo contest give all the citizens, especially those who haven’t yet met one of our officers, an opportunity to get acquainted in a non-official capacity.

You can share your photos by:

Emailing them to us at: branding@ppines.com (Please include your first and last name and best phone number for contact).

We are looking for creative photos all in good taste. Remember, it is a photo contest – so use your imagination! The winner will receive an opportunity to meet the Mayor and City Commission and be recognized .

Here are a few guidelines:

1. Tasteful photos of events, locations, items uniquely Pembroke Pines

2. Color photos desired by historical images in black and white will be considered

3. Photos that include neighborhoods and community groups are welcome

4. Your submission of your photos implies your formal release of all media ownership; please read full Photo contest release form.

We plan to post all of the photos on our Pembroke Pines SmugMug account for everyone’s enjoyment.

The chosen winner will be notified by the same means in which we received the photo.

We hope this contest will be a fun way for citizens to get to participate in the design and the creation of a new look for the city’s website. Together, we can make a difference in our community.
