Proper nutrition is essential for optimum health. We encourage all our clients to follow a balanced diet and to drink plenty of fluids.

A balanced lunch meal is served daily by Broward Meals on Wheels which is a federally sponsored program for persons aged 60 and over. All day care clients are eligible to participate. Clients also have the option of a home-packed lunch. Day care also offers toast and coffee or tea to all clients each morning.

A 3:00 p.m. afternoon snack is provided daily, which can include yogurt, fruit cup, and cheese with crackers.
