Arts for Community Engagement
The ProgramSincerity Houses
Arts for Community Engagement is a program in which various art projects are introduced into everyday life in the community. As a result of this program, the City recently received the U.S. Conference of Mayors Public Leadership in the Arts Award for its constant commitment to the arts.

Curator of Special Projects Jill Slaughter, exhibits the work of contemporary established and emerging artists at Studio 18 in the Pines, along with diverse exhibitions and events citywide. Jill views both the art enthusiast and novice as an integral part of fortifying Pembroke Pines’ commitment to arts and culture, and believes merging fine arts and community-based projects encourage unity.
