Everyone on staff has completed 40 hours of early childhood in-service training. Our staff is CPR and First Aid Certified. Everyone has undergone a background screening and fingerprinting process. They are here to guide and encourage children to reach their full potential intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

Professional Development
As part of their continuing education, everyone on staff is required to attend professional development classes related to early childhood education yearly. They learn about developmentally appropriate practices, social / emotional development, emergent literacy, computer technology, CPR and First Aid throughout the school year.

Training
Everyone on staff has completed a 40-hour in-service training. This training familiarizes staff with regulations and safety precautions observed in early childhood learning centers. The staff has undergone a background screening and fingerprinting process, which is monitored by the Department of Children and Families and Childcare Licensing and Enforcement.

Library & Classes
Our school library boasts over 4,000 books, CDs, Big Books, and teacher resource materials. Our three- and four-year-old classes participate in the Water Safety Education Program taught by Swim Central. All classes participate in the Stop, Drop, and Roll Program taught by our City’s Fire Department and the Stranger Danger Program taught by our City’s Police Department.

Camps & In-House Activities
Our kindergarten through fourth grade mini camps offer field trips and in-house special events on teacher work days, winter and spring breaks. Our summer camp features weekly field trips (K-4) and swimming twice each week for prekindergarten through fourth graders.

In-house activities and specialists provide age-appropriate activities in the areas of gym, sports, music and movement, art and crafts, drama, science, water play, and cool cooking for our two-year-old through fourth grade programs.

Please drop by any time to see what we do in our preschool!
