Blooms of Kindness

Have you seen any Blooms of Kindness?  The "Artists in Action" pottery students and staff at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus created a community project called "Blooms of Kindness", a citywide scavenger hunt to promote positivity and kindness. The group has created colorful handcrafted stoneware "blooms" that are being hidden around the City of Pembroke Pines in public places for anyone to find.  When a bloom is found, the finder is encouraged to take a picture of it, report where it was found and then post the photo/information on the Artists in Action Blooms of Kindness Project Facebook page.  Finders can keep the bloom, give it to someone who really needs it, or re-hide the bloom in a new location.  It can be hidden locally or even taken on vacation and hidden in other places all around the world.  For more information, please call Helen Daniels at 954-450-6888.
