    The winning artwork from the 10th Annual Art Competition will be on display in the Glass Gallery from September 24, 2014 through November 17, 2014. The Arts and Cultural Advisory Board has scheduled an Opening Reception on October 7, 2014 for the community. Guests may enjoy light refreshments and view the art at the Glass Gallery in Pembroke Pines, City Hall, 10100 Pines Boulevard.   2. 2nd Annual Bow Wow Ween

    October 11, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Dog Park

    Prepare yourselves for a Paw-sitively good time! Your furry friends won’t be spooked this Halloween with this event catered just for them. The City of Pembroke Pines invites you to join us at the 2nd Annual Halloween Event for dogs. The bark-tacular event will take place at the Pembroke Pines Dog Park, 9751 Johnson Street (just east of Palm Avenue) Saturday, October 11, 2014 9:00am-1:00pm. The event will feature costume contest for all sizes and different categories, games, prizes, and pet related vendors. You and your best friend are guaranteed a Bark-takcular time.     Teen Dance for Walter C. Young Middle School students only. Students must have school ID for admission into dance.

  4. Ghoulish Guardians Pumpkin Carving Contest

    October 18, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Community Garden- Hiatus Road & Washington Street

    Come join us for our annual Ghoulish Guardians Pumpkin Carving Contest on Saturday October 18 from 10am-1pm. All supplies are provided. There are 4 Categories: Ages 12 and under, Ages 12-17, Ages18 and up, Special Needs all ages. Must pre-register by filling out the attached registration form or contact Jill Slaughter at 954-450-6947. Event sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Pembroke Pines. Space is limited.

  5. Boo Ville Halloween Event

    October 25, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Pines Recreation Center

    Join us for some family fun and spooky activities including a costume contest, pumpkin patch with prizes, shows, rides, trick or treat stations, spooky strolling characters and many more surprises. The event will be held at The Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Boulevard. Admission is $2.00 per person. For more information contact the Special Events Office at 954-435-6525.

  6. Jazz Concert

    October 26, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ William B. Armstrong Dream Park

    The City of Pembroke Pines FREE Jazz in the Pines Concert Series features 9 Jazz Concerts on Sunday afternoons once a month. The months are January/ February/ March/ April/ May/ September/ October/November/ December. Free for participants. (weather permitting) Refreshments will be for sale. Don't forget to bring your blankets and chairs. This concert features music by Sound of Vision. William B. Armstrong Dream Park, 1700 Dykes Road
